Meet 2019 Summer Associate Lydia Stoney
This summer, Miller Law Group welcomes Lydia Stoney, a rising 3rd year student at Campbell University School of Law. At Campbell Law, Lydia is an Editor for the Campbell Law Review and a member of the Campbell’s Mock Trial Team.
In April, Lydia and her classmates made Campbell Law School history by winning the National Championship at the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Their historic win was the first AAJ National Championship win for the school’s Advocacy Program. You can read more about Campbell Law’s tremendous AAJ performance and national title win here.
Lydia is a native of Saluda, North Carolina. Lydia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Comparative Literature from UNC Chapel Hill in 2013. Lydia went on to join Teach for America and was an elementary school teacher in Memphis, Tennessee. When she’s not in the courtroom, Lydia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her black lab, Ellie.
