MaryAnne represents clients in whistleblower, employment, medical negligence, and civil rights cases.

MaryAnne graduated summa cum laude from Campbell Law School. At Campbell, she participated in the moot court program, earning a Best Brief Award at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition; served on Law Review; and worked as a research assistant to two professors.

Before going to law school, MaryAnne was a freelance editor, writer, and editorial manager.

Her clients included prestigious, peer-reviewed journals in innovation and technology, academic institutes, and individual authors, as well as boutique consulting firms and small businesses. She produced white papers, website text, and other long-form marketing materials; reworked academic publications for more general audiences; provided comprehensive editing services; and managed complex publishing projects. Her authors have published in fields as diverse as anthropology, history, landscape architecture, pharmaceutical innovation, and public health.

MaryAnne has an M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Business Management, with a minor in Engineering, from the University of Maryland. She also served in the U.S. Navy.
