Latasia Fields: Recipient of the Miller Advocacy for Justice Award

Miller Law Group is thrilled to announce the recipient for the Miller Advocacy for Justice Award. Congratulations to Latasia Fields for her continuous community involvement and commitment to justice.

The Miller Advocacy for Justice Award is an annual scholarship given to a student at Campbell School of Law. The award highlights an individual who exemplifies passion, experience and involvement in the accessibility of justice and has showcased community leadership during their time at Campbell. As Campbell alumni, Stacy Miller and Lacy Mau-McDowell are honored to serve the school and work with such remarkable students such as Latasia.

Latasia Fields is a 3L at Campbell School of Law who was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. During her participation in the Mock Trial Program at Furman University in undergrad, Latasia realized her passion for practicing law. She worked as a paralegal for many years and volunteered with the NAACP and The Boys & Girls Club in Greenville. At Campbell Law School, Latasia has been a trial team member for two years and continues to serve the community through organizations such as Dress for Success, Crisis Assistance Ministry and Capital Area Teen Court. When Latasia isn’t saving the world from injustice, she’s cheering on the Carolina Panthers and dabbling in event planning.

Congratulations, Latasia Fields!
