Position: Legal Assistant for Miller Law Group

Where are you from?

I am proudly an Air Force military brat and lived in 9 different places prior to graduating from high school (3 high schools)

Where did you go to school?

College – Florida State University – Go Seminoles (most years!)

What is your family like?

I have one brother, married with one sweet daughter, my niece. I have been married for 38 years (got married when I was only 10! LOL), have three children, Kyle, Jake and Lara. They are wonderful but all live TOO far away!

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

I love hiking especially if there is water nearby (lakes, streams, ocean), reading, playing with my dogs and I love travelling in the USA and Europe.

What is one of your favorite things about working at Miller Law Group?

I love the freedom of our open-door policy to communicate with the attorneys. I love the positive atmosphere and how we truly care for our clients’ best interest.

What’s your favorite item in your office and why?

Picture of my family because I can look over and get grounded looking at my miracles!

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I dream about flying but really, I wish I could eat anything I want and never gain a pound! Now THAT is a super POWER!

Top 3 favorite movies?

Wizard of Oz, To Kill a Mockingbird, Anchorman

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would you choose?

Eve, what is up with the apple? Could it be that good? And really, that snake was such a liar! We’re gonna talk someday girl, about the mess of pain you created!

What is one travel destination you’d like to visit?

Iceland or New Zealand

What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever visited?

Hawaii (lived there 4 years)

What was the strangest odd job you’ve had?

Delivered a small-town newspaper on a rural route by throwing them out the top of my 1969 VW sunroof after my friend rolled each one with rubber band to secure them!

What are some fun facts about you that not many people in the office know about you? I used to exercise polo ponies at Mokuleia, Hawaii on the north shore of Oahu. I can speak gibberish fluently. I have lived in 22 different houses so don’t talk to me about unpacking boxes!
