In some cases, an injured worker does not need to hire an attorney. If the insurance company accepts the employees injury and provides the necessary medical treatment and pays disability benefits then an attorney may not be needed.
However, you should consult an attorney if:
- Your claim has been denied;
- The insurance company is not authorizing medical treatment or is not sending your weekly checks on time;
- Your injuries are severe enough that they prevent you from returning to the job you worked before the injury; or
- You are not comfortable with the way the insurance company or your employer is treating you.
If you are experiencing any of the above situations, please contact Miller Law Groupso we can help you through the process. At Miller Law Group, PLLC, in Raleigh, we fight for people throughout North Carolina that have been injured at work.
