Megan Adkins

Megan Adkins has spent her nursing career – in and out of the hospital – advocating for and protecting patient health and safety.  She has worked towards excellence in facilitating communication and development of rapport with patients, families, medical staff and physicians.

Megan grew up in Henderson, North Carolina and attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A. Sociology, 1994).  She graduated, cum laude, from East Carolina University (B.S.N. 1999) where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (1998), Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society (1999) and a NC Nurse Scholar Recipient (1997-1999).

Megan began her nursing career as an Emergency Department RN in Trauma Centers in Greenville, NC; Myrtle Beach, SC; and Raleigh, NC.  For the last 12+ years Megan has worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant in a local firm.  At Miller Law Group, Megan looks forward to assisting the team in careful evaluation of your medical malpractice inquiry, continued investigation and development of case strategies and client navigation of the legal process.

Megan Adkins lives in Raleigh and has two daughters, Tucker and Molly.
