With experience in both the private and public sector, Blannie leads Miller Law Group’s business law practice and advises on complex corporate whistleblower litigation.
Blannie offers a wide range of experience in corporate counsel and strategy positions. She advises executives and boards on strategic growth plans; merger, acquisition, and investment transactions; and formal disputes with venture partners and regulatory agencies.
Blannie also represents individual clients in complex corporate whistleblower cases, reporting fraud, abuse, and other false claims against the government. Over the course of her career, she has filed over $1 billion in whistleblower claims.
Before corporate practice, Blannie served as the Governor’s Advisor on Jobs and the Economy, where she co-authored the office’s inaugural economic policy reform initiatives. She also managed the development and execution of several complex intergovernmental and public-private stakeholder projects.
Prior to public service, Blannie practiced law with a large firm in Raleigh focused on commercial, corporate tax, M&A, and private equity transactions. Blannie received her J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
