Since August 2015, Lacy Mau-McDowell has served as a personal injury and worker’s compensation Attorney at Miller Law Group, PLLC.
Lacy Mau-McDowell has committed herself to seeking justice and truth both inside the court room and in the community. Since joining Miller Law Group, Lacy has been a relentless advocate for her clients and played a major role in settling a multi-million dollar commercial vehicle accident. Lacy is the founder of many of Miller Law Group’s charitable branches, including The 5 Days of Giving Campaign and Miller Law Group Gives Back. Lacy also serves as a Volunteer Attorney with The Child’s Advocate/Legal Aid of NC, as a mentor for Campbell University students, and she teaches Sunday School and hosts a small group with her church.
During her time at Campbell University, Lacy served on the Mock Trial Team where Stacy Miller was her coach. Stacy nicknamed her “The Pistol” for her tenacious persistence and timely precision. When Stacy realized he wouldn’t want to go up against her in the court room, he knew he had to work alongside her. Lacy received her law degree from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in May 2015 and began working for Miller Law Group shortly after.
Lacy is a born and raised North Dakotan who relocated to North Carolina six years ago with her husband, Cory, who was in the Air Force at that time. The two of them now live in Raleigh raising their daughter Gray and their son Welles. When Lacy isn’t winning over the court room, you can find her traveling, reading an autobiography, watching Pride and Prejudice, listening to yet another podcast or partaking in a “jam” session with her family.
